The Role:

This role will see you responsible for the oversight and provision of detailed financial and wealth advice to existing and new clients.

You will be heading up the newly created Financial Planning team and play an integral role in the development and growth of the division. We envisage this role to start as a part time position and develop into a full-time role as the business grows.

Reporting directly to the Owner and Practice Manager, your main responsibilities will include:

  • Meeting clients, analysing their personal financial and lifestyle requirements, and developing high quality advice strategies
  • Engage and maintain client connections with internal and external referral partners
  • Identify opportunities to cross-sell services that will benefit clients
  • Contribute towards process improvement within a business focused on servicing client needs with professionalism and in an ethical manner
  • Provide holistic advice to a range of HNW established professionals in super, insurance, pre and post retirement, new business, and ongoing servicing of clients
  • Network and build strong referral partnerships with 3rd parties &
  • Contribute to internal training and staff development.

To be considered for this great role, you will have:

  • 5 years previous experience as a Financial Planner providing holistic advice to clients (face-to-face)
  • Undergraduate or Postgraduate Degree qualification which meets the requirement of FASEA
  • Diploma of Financial Services, Financial Planning giving RG146 Compliance
  • Certified Financial Planner (CFP)
  • Eligible to hold a Practising Certificate under the AFSL
  • Experience with SMSF and direct equities investments
  • Solid understanding of tax, superannuation, retirement income streams, investments, and social security
  • Strong knowledge of retirement strategies, direct equities, managed investments, and personal risk/insurance advice
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including the ability to communicate complex scenarios in a manner which is engaging and allows for the client to clearly understand &
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines.
